Cutting-Edge LED Chip Technology: We challenge you to find another bulb on the market that produces as much light as the S-V.4 while still retaining a perfect beam pattern! The S-V.4 LED fog light bulbs utilize the newest multi-core LED chip styles that feature one long crystal over the entire diode array to create a seamless light output source. Most LED fog light bulbs on the market essentially create 2, 3, 4, or 6 different light sources by stacking 2-6 different chips together in a line. The NLW1860CV2 chips are based on XD14 technology developed by CREE, this custom designed LED chip has no light gap between diodes which gives it a closer function compared to the original filament bulb, thus achieving a greater beam accuracy that works best in any fog light or fog light housing.
Thermal Management: The S-V.4 LED fog light bulbs are built from the highest quality 6063 aluminum material originally designed for aircraft and space craft applications. This material has amazing heat dissipation qualities as well as is 100% corrosion resistant in automotive applications. On the bottom of the heat sink lies a high-speed double ball bearing micro-fan that is fully submersible and waterproof! If the fan stops working, the sophisticated thermal management system inside the bulb will dim the fog light until it is safe to use. Considering that these bulbs can be up to 6x brighter than your original bulbs, even at 50% power, they will still be safe to use on the street in most situations. The heavy duty LED bulb power driver has a built in smart fan circuit that ramps up the speed of the cooling fan as necessary so it's as quiet as possible when it can be.
Compact Design: Most LED fog light bulbs that use a fan-based active cooling system are known for not being small or easy to fit inside fog light housings with a dust cover. The S-V.4 is designed to be as compact as possible. The mounting depth is 20-25mm on most bulb variants, low profile enough to fit even the most demanding of spaces! The heat sink / fan diameter is only 39mm! The LED driver on this bulb is larger than the previous generation, but it is still the right size to fit inside most fog light housings comfortably.
CANBUS Compliant: Do your LED fog light bulbs flicker, pulse, give you errors and warnings on the dash? Do they even work at all?? Chances are your vehicle employs some version of CANBUS or PWM to control the lighting functions. These complex OEM systems rely on the physical readings of your original fog light filament to determine of your bulbs are operating properly. Simply put, when you install an LED fog light bulb, that function sometime determines that the bulb is broken, or missing entirely and will cause the truck to malfunction. Sometimes this means they don't come on at all, other times they flash, and sometimes they will suddenly shut off while you're driving! All of these things are solved by the built in CANBUS integration circuit found already inside the S-V.4 LED driver. Sometimes an extra PWM module may still be necessary, but this bulb is totally plug and play on the vast majority of vehicles on the road today, even brand new models!
Dimming: The S-V.4 bulbs dim less and less bright until they turn off at 8V DC.
DRL: If the DRL function is lower than 8V DC, the bulbs will just not turn on at all. But if they use CANBUS or PWM at 12V DC they will work normally.
CANBUS: Some vehicles use CANBUS function to monitor and control your fog light and fog light bulbs. The S-V.4 has a slightly larger LED driver than normal because the CANBUS anti-flicker and anti-error circuitry is built in! No external components should be needed to install these bulbs with a CANBUS-Equipped vehicle. Easy plug and play installation. 2 year warranty.
Want your fog lights: to shine brighter and further but your current bulbs just aren't cutting it? Want to get rid of that old yellow light tint and give your ride an updated look with a cool white light beam? Look no further! These LED fog light bulbs will cast a precise light beam that will give you increased visibility, a wider viewing angle, and a much longer lifetime over conventional halogen bulbs.
The S-V.4: comes in every popular style to replace any fog light or fog light bulb. Match the bulb number of your original application (example: 9005, 9006, H4, H13, etc...) with the matching S-V.4 LED fog light bulb and replace bulb for bulb. Fits all applications including projectors, and fog lights with dust shield covers.

Lights

As for the lights being better that stock. They are definitely 3x as bright with no one flashing there lights like they are too bright. But the stupid set screw and Allen wrench that comes with it is junk. They stripped out right away. Save yourself the trouble and use your own tools.
Mighty Fine Headlights

I ordered these LED bulbs to replace the halogen bulbs in my 1999 Ford F350 SuperDuty. The locking ring that holds the traditional 9007 bulbs onto the headlight assembly befuddled me a little bit when trying to install these. But once I discovered that I can take the collar off of the LED bulbs, I was able to mount them into the locking ring with ease. They look awesome!. The color (6000k) is perfect! Not all juvenile blue/green looking like so many high schoolers do. It looks like the output from OEM Xenon cars. Very bright.

S-V.4 V.3 LED Headlights, 9007 Bulbs

This is my first purchase from this business. I purchased these lights after reviewing H.R.'s videos and exchanging several emails. I could not find complete headlight replacements for my 2001 F250. They suggested these.
I did not understand a minor issue with installation. They immediately sent me a link to an easily understood instruction sheet. These lights install just like your original bulbs, but have a mesh tail. Once installed I waited for darkness before testing.
The brightness and color exceeded my expectations. There is always a "but," and this is it. I could not get the light pattern not to shine on oncoming traffic. The folks at HR were quick to discuss my options. They offered to take the lights back and exchange them for something which might work better. We are now in the process of exchanging lights. I will write again when I review those lights.
The take away here is important. I might be able to get less expensive lights, but the service at HR is something others should copy. I have praised them to my friends. They are fast to offer suggestions and quick to resolve problems!
No good in Ranger housings

I wanted so badly to love the S-V.4 V.4 bulbs. Build quality was very good, chip tech is the latest available, and light output is incredible. BUT....at least in 2004 Ford Ranger headlight housings (both slightly foggy OEM housings and brand new CAPA certified TYC housings), there is terrible light scatter with shadows that could hide a small dog. Plus the hot spot has a very pronounced bowl shape. Bulbs were clocked correctly, headlights were aimed best I could with the funky light pattern. Even reinstalled the incandescent bulbs, put the aim bang on, then reinstalled the V.4 bulbs only to be greeted with light in all the wrong places. Really disappointed as I was genuinely excited to use these bulbs.

I installed these in my 2000 Ford Explorer with new oe housings. They are very bright, much better than a standard halogen bulb. The only complaints (if you want to call them complaints) are the spread between low and high beam. I had to adjust the low beams a touch low and the high beam is still just a touch high. The other is I believe the chip wattage is 36 for both low and high beam, which is great for low beam. High beam I would like to see 40 or 42 watts. Overall, I am very satisfied!

I installed these on an older car a 2000 Town Car to be exact. I was not sure how they would preform in an older reflector housing.
Over all I'm happy with them the light output is far superior to my old upgraded halogens that I had.
The light beam pattern is good so far I've not gotten flashed by on coming drivers. I will say the cut off could be a bit better I will explain what I mean.
When installing these lights your can clock the led's in at different positions via of the collar has a set screw and has holes drilled at 90 degree positions around the collar which allow you to get your led's sitting in the reflector at various positions I'll use clock positions for reference. When I installed these in the factory position the cut off was good but not quite as good as the halogen bulbs.
The led's were sitting at about a 7 O'clock and 1 O'clock position with the screw removed I rotated the bulb and found the best pattern for my reflectors to be with the LED's at 9 O'clock and 3 O'clock location but could not get them to lock in at that setting as the screw locations were not in the locations I needed to achieve the best pattern. The pattern is good but could be tweaked a bit. I suppose I could drill out the collar were I need the screw to go through and lock it that way, but for now the pattern is good enough and I'm not getting flashed by on coming drivers and the spread on the road is good. I guess I may be being just a bit nit picky.
All in all I have to say these lights are great they are well built and the wiring is good quality not cheap thin gauge crap like you get with the bargain led's out there. I was a little reluctant to spend this much on LED head lights but it was worth it and I would buy another set in the future from HR.
