Cutting-Edge LED Chip Technology: We challenge you to find another bulb on the market that produces as much light as the S-V.4 while still retaining a perfect beam pattern! The S-V.4 LED headlight bulbs utilize the newest multi-core LED chip styles that feature one long crystal over the entire diode array to create a seamless light output source. Most LED headlight bulbs on the market essentially create 2, 3, 4, or 6 different light sources by stacking 2-6 different chips together in a line. The NLW1860CV2 chips are based on XD14 technology developed by CREE, this custom designed LED chip has no light gap between diodes which gives it a closer function compared to the original filament bulb, thus achieving a greater beam accuracy that works best in any headlight or fog light housing.
Thermal Management: The S-V.4 LED headlight bulbs are built from the highest quality 6063 aluminum material originally designed for aircraft and space craft applications. This material has amazing heat dissipation qualities as well as is 100% corrosion resistant in automotive applications. On the bottom of the heat sink lies a high-speed double ball bearing micro-fan that is fully submersible and waterproof! If the fan stops working, the sophisticated thermal management system inside the bulb will dim the headlight until it is safe to use. Considering that these bulbs can be up to 6x brighter than your original bulbs, even at 50% power, they will still be safe to use on the street in most situations. The heavy duty LED bulb power driver has a built in smart fan circuit that ramps up the speed of the cooling fan as necessary so it's as quiet as possible when it can be.
Compact Design: Most LED headlight bulbs that use a fan-based active cooling system are known for not being small or easy to fit inside headlight housings with a dust cover. The S-V.4 is designed to be as compact as possible. The mounting depth is 20-25mm on most bulb variants, low profile enough to fit even the most demanding of spaces! The heat sink / fan diameter is only 39mm! The LED driver on this bulb is larger than the previous generation, but it is still the right size to fit inside most headlight housings comfortably.
CANBUS Compliant: Do your LED headlight bulbs flicker, pulse, give you errors and warnings on the dash? Do they even work at all?? Chances are your vehicle employs some version of CANBUS or PWM to control the lighting functions. These complex OEM systems rely on the physical readings of your original headlight filament to determine of your bulbs are operating properly. Simply put, when you install an LED headlight bulb, that function sometime determines that the bulb is broken, or missing entirely and will cause the truck to malfunction. Sometimes this means they don't come on at all, other times they flash, and sometimes they will suddenly shut off while you're driving! All of these things are solved by the built in CANBUS integration circuit found already inside the S-V.4 LED driver. Sometimes an extra PWM module may still be necessary, but this bulb is totally plug and play on the vast majority of vehicles on the road today, even brand new models!
Dimming: The S-V.4 bulbs dim less and less bright until they turn off at 8V DC.
DRL: If the DRL function is lower than 8V DC, the bulbs will just not turn on at all. But if they use CANBUS or PWM at 12V DC they will work normally.
CANBUS: Some vehicles use CANBUS function to monitor and control your headlight and fog light bulbs. The S-V.4 has a slightly larger LED driver than normal because the CANBUS anti-flicker and anti-error circuitry is built in! No external components should be needed to install these bulbs with a CANBUS-Equipped vehicle. Easy plug and play installation. 2 year warranty.

V4 headlights DO NOT fit 2017 F150!

These lights do NOT fit a 2017 F-150!!!
I am sure the V3 version does (as seen in the video), but the V4 is too big for the light housing. There is no room for you to get the dust cover on and you have to disassemble the light itself to get it in to the hole. By that I mean, take the included Allen key, take off the "twist lock housing", insert the twist lock housing and then insert the bulb and lock it in...
But the new bulb housing pushes up against the back end, I mean it is TIGHT. The modulator wont even make it into the housing with it, so be prepared to poke a hole in your dust cover if you want...but then again, the dust cover does not fit because the bulb housing is pushing up against the back end of the light housing. I would upload pictures but they don't allow that.

So sad, because I went to purchase the V3's a month ago and they stopped selling them for the V4's

I installed these fairly easily into my 2016 F150. It took a little struggling to fit everything into the housing (Thanks Ford) but otherwise went without a hitch. The issue I had was within 30 hours of use, one of the lights burnt out. (Can see the LED's burnt out,) Has been about a week with no human response from Headlight Revolution. Once I get the replacement and see if it lasts, I will update this review.

I was a little skeptical at first with all the other reviews, but tried them out anyway... And I'm way impressed. They make the truck look soooo much better and they actually improve viability A LOT! The install was a little harder than I expected, but not because if the lights and instead of how Ford made it hard to install. I chose the method of going through the wheel well and after I was done, I wished I just removed the headlight completely. So for anyone reading this, just remove the headlight and save yourself the trouble.

Too bad HR doesn't mention removing the fender flares on the F150 FX4 and other truck that have them. Removing the flares is a PITA

$139.00 is way too high price for the same crap that's on Amazon and Ebay. Amazon has the same thing for $50. Ive bought 4 different one all claiming to be great, but all are the same crap. Not any better than stock bulbs and 2-5 times the cost. Its partly the halogen headlight housing to blame, but half the led. They are not good enough yet.....

To begin with, truck looks great! I have to say tho, install for 2017 is NOT the same as a Ãò16, and you are UNABLE to follow the install video as the site prompts you to do. To many plastic pieces, and wheel fender removal is required. I ended up putting it back together, and removed the front portion of the undercarriage pad in the front wheel wells. The high beams are a piece of cake to install. Plenty of room to stuff wires and braided cooling. Low beams, not so much room. Also, because you canÃôt see what youÃôre doing very well, because itÃôs easier to not remove your front end to do this install, it takes a while to set the low beams. Also, due to little amount of room, it was tedious getting all parts in and rubber dust cover back on. Other than this, they are great! Not blinding people with arrogant LED lighting, it looks natural and overall extremely satisfied!

Compared to the competitor, which I returned, this install is exceptionally easy. Unfortunately, I haven't driven the truck at night yet. However, even during the day it is clear to me that these lights are much brighter.
