Bought these and loving the brightness and look on the JK. Easy install. Recommend also getting the 4 light High Beam switch

These headlights look so amazing. Installation is not so difficult, is just the 2018 JL has very uncomfortable access to the headlights. Some extra steps needed to be able to use the halo feature with the JL, so I learned a little about the vehicle's electrical make up. If it wasn't for the fact that there is a very expensive adapter needed to install these 7" into the car, I'd give it a 5 stars. They are expensive! but they look great.

Overall the headlights have a pleasing white light output. The have a nice sharp cutoff on low beam to avoid blinding oncoming drivers. Vast improvement over factory lights. My only complaint is the dark area in the middle of the beam just below the bright swath of light running left to right. HR has a great video that demos these lights. Fog lights are needed to fill this area. If you purchase the High/Low adapter you can run high and low beams concurrently. That upgrade puts out an incredible amount of light. I run with the High beams on all the time. Only switching off when oncoming cars approach. No one has any doubt that you just switched to low beams.

I had knockoff cheaply made Chinese Led lights before and would always get people flashing their high beams at me because the light wasn't focused enough. The Vision X lights have way more effective lumens and the pattern is awesome. I got the high beam harnesses so all lights are on during high beam.

I went ahead an bought the accessory which allows both low and high beams to be on together and am very happy with the results. The installation was very straight forward, I'd say a 1 on a scale of 5. The hardest part was removing the front grill. The connectors on the headlights and dual beam unit did not fit as tight as I thought they should so I ended up tie wrapping the connectors together. The low beam pattern is very defined and I found there is a dark area between the upper LED and the two small LEDs which I found distracting. It does get better when the high beams are on but you don't drive around town with your brights on. I had already determined that I was going to replace my fog lights with LEDs and they do help. This weekend I'm going to try and adjust the fog lights up to fill in the dark spot. I think that should take care of the issue I have with the dark spot.

One of the best purchases I have made for my jeep. Super easy to install, including the halos. Superior design and quality! If you still have the stock headlights, this is a must have!

Great lights. Easy to install. Had to get a little help for installing the halo wire; it was the hardest part to install.
