2018 Tacoma TRD 4X4 Interior LED Bulb Replacement

I ordered the 2018 Toyota TACOMA LED Interior Light Bulbs Kit. The bulbs were easy to install and very bright. Its just what I was wanting. The one thing you need to be careful with when installing the dome bulb. Its was a little tricky installing. It also has two small wires leading from the connector that inserts into the bulb housing to the led panel. While installing my dome light I actually broke of of the wire leads. I was able to fix it with a little electrical tape, so be careful.

Warning on dome light 2017 Tacoma

Overall install was straight forward and bulbs worked great on my 2017 Tacoma . I liked the lights. I did have a big issue with the dome light. It interfered big time with my key fob and caused it to work intermittently. Major headaches ensued trying to figure out the issue. This resulted in a couple of trips to the dealer to figure out. Finally after a week on my second visit the dealer removed the dome light led board and the key fob returned to normal. No issues with the other led lights in this kit. Luckily the dealership did not charge me for the replacement of the receiver assembly and repair. They could have as I installed the leds and it wouldn't be under warranty. Be advised if you have key fob issues try removing the led and see if that helps.

Not very handy and and old with fading vision but watched the videos on youtube and changed out all interior and back up lights in under 1/2 hour. For the map lights, recommend popping out the entire overhead unit and replacing bulbs from the back. Needs a bit of force to get that out which I was hesitant to do to a brand new truck but it worked and the bulbs were then a breeze to replace. For the vanity mirror lights, pop the cap off from the bottom. On the main dome light, stick the "bulb" away from the edge. 1st try would not allow the cover to be replaced. Overall an easy mod that gives your interior a very modern look.

The lights are really bright and nice white lights, is not clear to see the dark places that the old lights didnÃôt illuminated. I love the product that i bought the GTR low headlights and the GTR signals lights. The videos make it easy to install and help to choose the best for my truck. I would like to know if thereÃôs any more specials for military.

First of all I wanted to be sure the interior lighting would work on my 2018 Tacoma, so I emailed the Headlight Revolution and they responded very quickly with answering my question. Install was very quick and easy and I did watch the installation video so that I can have an idea of what to work with! Was done installing in less than 20 minutes
